Business Economist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Policy, Economics and Influence team as an economist.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality economic research and analysis;
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on economic matters;
- Stay up-to-date with key issues affecting the WA and Australian business communities;
- Contribute to the development of sound and effective policy recommendations;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships with key local and national stakeholders;
- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations and speeches for senior leaders;
- Communicate complex economic concepts in a simplified and engaging format;
- Support media inquiries and statements with accurate and timely information.
You will have a deep understanding of economic principles and their application in a business context. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex ideas simply and clearly.
