Senior Research Economist

The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Research Economist to join its faculty.
This esteemed position involves conducting internationally recognised research, publishing in top-tier journals and securing external funding. The role also includes delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising students and leading curriculum development and assessment to enhance student learning experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry, government and academic partners.
- Providing leadership in school and university governance, contributing to strategic planning and representing the institution in academic and professional settings.
To be successful, you will have:
- A PhD in Economics or a related field.
- A track record of research excellence and publications in top-ranked journals.
- Sustained major research funding success as lead investigator from competitive grant sources.
- Teaching excellence at the University level, including an emerging record of curricula development and delivery.
