Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to lead our marine construction projects in Sydney.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Marine/Civil/Landscaping Construction and possess strong management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate, quote, plan and manage construction projects along creek lines/shorelines accessible by a barge.
  • Assist with sourcing, selection and preparation of tenders and quotes; assist with pricing of projects.
  • Compile and review tender supporting information tables and appendices.
  • Plan, oversee and lead projects from initial site setup through to completion.
  • Supervise and manage the team to ensure that construction works are completed to a high standard and in-line with contract specification.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Marine/Civil/Landscaping Construction.
  • Previous experience as an Estimator in related industries.
  • Pricing skills and quantity surveying take-off skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans.
  • Experience in building and pricing Bill of Quantities.
  • Ability to assess construction risks and price accordingly.
  • Trade Qualification.
  • Good knowledge of WHS and safety protocols.
