Oral Health Clinic Leadership Position

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our student-led Oral Health Therapy clinic. The successful candidate will oversee clinic operations, manage a professional team, and ensure effective service delivery to the public by our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction for the Oral Health Therapy patient clinic.
- Clinic Operations: Manage clinic operations and ensure that all services meet organisational standards.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with academic staff and stakeholders to enhance clinical activities and educational outcomes.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Support student learning and development through effective mentorship and guidance.
- Working Environment: Promote a positive and productive working environment for all team members.
Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Oral Health Therapy (or equivalent), extensive relevant experience, and expertise in oral health practice management.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of strategies which deliver business outcomes within budget and resourcing constraints.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with stakeholders on a range of issues in a professional, confident manner.
- Written Communication: High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare complex written material in clear language accessible to range of audiences.
- Organisational Skills: Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and the ability to guide, coach and supervise and/or manage others, as required.
- Critical Analysis: Demonstrated critical analysis skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making.
Desirable:
- Professional Registration: Current registrations with the relevant professional association.
