
Child Health Support Professional

As a Child Health Support Professional, you will be working in community education settings to provide direct nursing care and support to pre-school and school-aged children with complex health and disability needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support in preschools, mainstream, and special education schools.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred care in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and remain accountable for your own nursing practice.
- Be an Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the relevant nursing board and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Have proven experience in working in paediatrics or with clients who have complex health issues.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
