Academic Leader in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

We are seeking an exceptional academic and practitioner to join our institution as a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Psychology. The successful candidate will provide leadership in teaching and learning across Psychology topics, with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment (Educational or Developmental Psychology).
- Deliver inspiring teaching across all levels and modes.
- Lead curriculum development and review, creating courses that prepare students to work in diverse and interprofessional contexts.
- Apply innovative teaching practices and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
This position offers international candidates relocation and visa support. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our vibrant campus life and amenities, including on-campus healthcare services, a gym, and childcare centre.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Educational or Developmental Psychology, be passionate about enhancing curriculum and supporting students to develop graduate-ready skills and knowledge to succeed in the field. They will bring energy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset, and be committed to excellence and innovation in teaching, supervision, and course coordination.
Candidates will be assessed for suitability based on their relevant experience. In this role, you will demonstrate:
- A PhD in Psychology, or a master's qualification with equivalent professional experience.
- Eligibility for registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in the practice, teaching, and supervision of child and adolescent psychological assessment.
- Demonstrated capacity for excellence and innovation in tertiary-level teaching and learning.
