About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melbourne's west. As an integral part of our school-based services, you will work closely with the Principal, teaching staff, and other allied health professionals to deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to students with various intellectual and physical disabilities.

In line with our planning framework, you will identify priorities for students through a Transdisciplinary approach and contribute to the development of policies, strategies, processes, and procedures for effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate Occupational Therapy services
  • Consult with the Principal, teaching staff, and other allied health professionals
  • Identify priorities for students through a Transdisciplinary approach
  • Contribute to policy development, strategies, and procedures

Requirements
  • Completed Occupational Therapy Tertiary degree
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • 2-3 years of Australian experience as an Occupational Therapist working with children and adolescents
  • Current driver's license and car
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Well-developed resilience and ability to balance personal well-being in challenging situations
  • Valid VIC Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain one
  • Current CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one
  • Current VIC Police Check
