Job Overview

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to older Australians in their homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a rewarding and varied role.

Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for providing excellent care and support, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.

You will be working independently, travelling to visit clients across various locations, and providing assistance with daily tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other tasks within the client's care plan. You will also be transporting clients to appointments and shopping, preparing meals, and providing social support or respite for family/carers.

This is a permanent part-time or casual role, offering flexible hours and days, with competitive hourly pay rates plus km reimbursement and paid travel time. We also offer not-for-profit tax benefits, career growth opportunities, and discounted gym benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle
