The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centered care and be committed to ensuring the well-being of our residents.
About the Role:
- Provide safe and effective care to residents, following established policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the care team in providing high-quality care.
- Coordinate care in allocated sections of the home and ensure care plan compliance.
- Advise and allocate care staff as required.
- Recognize and escalate deteriorating residents promptly.
- Provide safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
What You Need:
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- One year of experience in a residential aged care setting (new entrants considered).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- NDIS Worker Checks (or willingness to obtain).
- Possession of a person-centered approach to care.
