Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering effective swimming and water safety lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach swimming and water safety skills to students in a fun and engaging manner
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with diverse abilities and learning styles
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of aquatic programs and services
- Current AustSwim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Blue card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
