The Women's Health Unit seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (Student Midwife) to provide high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse (Student Midwife) delivers exceptional nursing services within the Women's Health Unit, upholding registration requirements and NMBA standards.
The RN-Student midwife works predominantly in the Postnatal/Gynaecological ward while completing a Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery.
About the TeamThe Women's Health Unit is a leading service with approximately 1500 births per year, offering diverse opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.
The unit consists of an 18-bed inpatient postnatal ward, 6 birthing suites, Special Care Nursery, and a Birth Centre.
Multiple midwifery models of care are implemented within our unit, prioritizing teamwork and collaboration.
About Our ServiceOur healthcare service provides comprehensive care to patients and their families across various locations.
We cover an extensive area of approximately 90,000km2, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services.
