Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Tweed Heads.

About the Role:

  • Provide leadership and support to employees, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SIL properties, and develop staffing rosters.
  • Work with Accommodation Managers and other business entities to ensure smooth running of the SIL homes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on rostering and payroll to ensure timely information exchange.
  • Foster a workplace culture that aligns with our mission, vision, guiding principles, and values.
  • Operate within delegated authority and undertake administrative tasks to support efficient service delivery.
  • Be willing to work flexible shifts and be on call to cover shifts within the homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective strategies to promote client outcomes and achieve successful results.
  • Manage and coordinate resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their representatives, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide timely updates to management.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in home management or a related field, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Sound working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and community-based supports.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
