Customer Payments Specialist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve complex problems daily in a supportive team environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer experiences through empathetic communication and negotiation.
  • Monitor queues, interpret reports, and make data-driven decisions to maintain collection activity and manage daily workload.
  • Proactively manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Assess customer files, administer collection solutions, and review industry compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar collections role or support role managing queues with inbound and outbound emails and calls.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with technology.
  • Demonstrated natural sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to work comfortably with ambiguity.
