Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced support worker to join our dedicated team of long-term workers. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with complex disabilities in their daily lives.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care and domestic assistance
  • Providing social and community engagement opportunities
  • Covering occasional relief shifts for our team

Requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum 1 year's previous experience supporting people with complex disabilities
  • Ability to work closely with and take direction from the individual and their family
  • Physical fitness due to the nature of the role
  • Current Open Queensland Driver's License
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Working with Children check
  • Current Yellow Card / Disability Workers Screening Clearance
  • Auslan skills highly desirable but not required (training provided)
  • Basic computer skills

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be a skilled negotiator and be a good role model. They will also be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
