About the RoleThe Chief Business Officer is a critical leadership position that drives operational excellence across SEARMS. The successful candidate will have proven experience in human resources, safety compliance, and organisational development, as well as demonstrated expertise in risk management.
- Lead strategic HR, workforce development, performance management, and employee relations to attract and retain top talent.
- Maintain robust safety systems, ensure compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Oversight of incident planning, response, review, and reporting.
- Ensure policy frameworks, compliance registers, and governance systems are current, effective, and audit-ready.
- Lead a high-performing corporate services team, delivering exceptional business support.

What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field.

- Experience in a community-controlled, Aboriginal, or not-for-profit environment.
