Enrolled Nurse in Theatre Scrub/Scout Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic theatre team at Modbury Hospital, where you will play a vital role in the delivery of outstanding surgical care.

The perioperative suite at our hospital features 4 operating theatres and 11 bay recovery unit, with a focus on high throughput elective surgeries such as Orthopaedics, Urology, General surgery, Plastic surgery, Breast surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology.

Job Description

As an Enrolled Nurse specialising in Theatre Scrub/Scout duties, you will work alongside experienced surgeons and theatre staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes through meticulous attention to detail and professional excellence.

  • Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced theatre environment
  • Working collaboratively with surgeons and theatre staff to deliver exceptional surgical care
  • Participating in on-call shifts and working across both sites as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold a current practicing certificate. In addition, you must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
