Compassionate Animal Care Liaison

Weipa Veterinary Service is seeking a skilled Animal Care Representative to join their team. This role has become available due to one of the current team members moving on to pursue other opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the clinic remains clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service to clients and their pets
• Handle phone calls and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks with efficiency
• Clean and organize the public areas of the clinic to ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in a related field (animal care, veterinary technology, etc.)
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role or animal care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software programs

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
