Job Title

A graduate chemist or environmental scientist is required to perform environmental air monitoring programs, including industry stack emission testing and laboratory and field odour surveys.

This full-time role offers an 8 days on/6 days off roster with the opportunity to contribute to crucial environmental projects and develop expertise in environmental sampling, chemical reagent preparation, sample management, and technical reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform environmental air monitoring programs
  • Conduct industry stack emission testing and laboratory and field odour surveys
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Ability to work in a safe and methodical manner at height
  • Understanding of basic chemistry principles
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical procedures
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a small team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior knowledge in emissions to air monitoring
  • Confidence in learning new work practices such as isokinetic testing
  • Competency in Excel and Word
