Senior Civil Designer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our team based on the Sunshine Coast.

This role involves undertaking civil detailed design and documentation in accordance with relevant design standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Producing high-quality designs and documentation in software like 12D and AutoCAD that meet ADG standards
  • Maintaining project success by monitoring scope, quality, costs, and schedules
  • Tracking project progress to consistently meet or exceed client expectations
  • Fostering collaboration between disciplines and project team members

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design principles and be able to use theoretical knowledge to analyze and interpret information.

A strong background in drafting requirements for local authorities and government departments is also essential.

Additional skills and qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience in designing and documenting earthworks, drainage, road works, and sewer/water projects using software like 12D, AutoCAD, PCDrain, and PCSewer
  • An Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Good knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes
