Key Responsibilities

The Digital Capital Program in eHealth Queensland requires a seasoned specialist to design, implement, and troubleshoot voice solutions using various tools and systems. This expert will lead assessments, analyses, developments, documentation, and implementation planning of complex voice/telephony/unified communications solutions.

  1. Develop comprehensive voice / telephony / unified communications solutions, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.
  2. Design complex systems and recommend strategies for migrating eHealth to proposed solutions, documenting design standards and methods.
  3. Evaluate risks inherent in proposed implementations and conduct configuration changes on systems in line with programs of work and Enterprise Change Management system.
  4. Validate vendor designs, assure implementation plans, review bills of material, and statements of works.
Main Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you must have experience leading the design, publication, implementation, compliance, and delivery of Enterprise technical solutions/ICT changes to industry best practice frameworks for large-scale IM/ICT infrastructure delivery projects.

  1. Demonstrated expertise in designing, assessing, reviewing, and advising on high-level and detailed technical specifications for integrating Telephony, Paging, Messaging, and Unified Communications services into Queensland Health Hospitals.
  2. Knowledge of technologies such as Unified Communications, Alcatel Telephony Systems, Cisco Unified Communications Systems, Paging and Messaging Solutions.
  3. Ability to collaborate with builders, third-party integrators, eHealth Service Management Teams, and project teams to deliver ICT services to Queensland Health standards.
  4. Strong background in ICT solution design, review, change assessment, and technical assurance in line with service management and compliance frameworks.
