We seek a seasoned financial expert to lead month end reporting, financial analysis, and accounts consolidation. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for corporate financial data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing intercompany transactions in large ERP systems, specifically in relation to sales/purchases, payroll, and overhead recharges. You will also possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports
  • Month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Review and assessment of key financial statements to ensure data accuracy
  • Reconciliation of intercompany transactions (in relation to sales / purchases, payroll + overhead recharges)
  • Ability to process transactions in ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Ability to complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • ERP Systems experience, ideally NetSuite or Bigger ERP like SAP or Dynamics
  • Monthly variance analysis of financial results
  • Support in the preparation, submission, and filing of payroll tax and PAYG returns on a monthly basis
  • Assistance with the preparation, submission, and lodgment of BAS returns monthly
  • Participation in bi-annual audits
  • Contribution to special projects and implementations as needed

About You:

  • CA/CPA qualified, with 2+ years in a senior financial accounting role
  • Strong experience with large ERP systems - NetSuite experience is a huge plus
  • Comfortable managing high-volume intercompany transactions ($500k-$600k monthly scale)
  • Confident with tax compliance: GST, FBT, PAYG, payroll tax, and super
  • Advanced Excel wizardry - VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and building automation templates for reconciliations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
