Automotive Service Technician

Our esteemed dealership in rural Queensland invites a qualified Automotive Service Technician to join their team and experience an idyllic lifestyle amidst breathtaking natural scenery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks including:

  • Diagnostics and Repair of Vehicles – ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard, adhering to manufacturers' specifications
  • Vehicle Advice and Consultation – providing expert guidance on the mechanical condition of vehicles
  • Service Reporting and Documentation – accurately recording all necessary work, services, or repairs using in-house databases or reporting systems
  • Mentorship and Training – offering guidance and training to apprentices
  • Vehicle Information and Communication – delivering high-quality service to guests by conveying vehicle information in a professional manner
  • Vehicle Testing and Quality Control – conducting road tests and final assessments prior to vehicle delivery or return to customers
  • Compliance with OH&S Policies – adhering to rigorous occupational health and safety standards

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Certification as an Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical)
  • Experience with Multiple Vehicle Brands – with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility
  • Minimum 3 Years' Post-Trade Experience – demonstrating your ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Manual Driver's License – ensuring safe transportation and mobility
  • Strong Communication Skills – enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • Customer Service Focus – prioritizing exceptional customer experiences
  • Attention to Detail – maintaining accuracy and precision in all aspects of your work
