Experienced Carpenter Required for Sydney Project

This full-time Carpenter position is available in Peakhurst, NSW 2210. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team at J.B Civil Shotcrete Pty Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and constructing formwork and frameworks essential for our shotcreting projects. This role requires a professional with expertise in carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to construct and assemble formwork for shotcreting applications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble timber and other materials for frameworks to support concrete application.
- Ensure all structures meet required specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to align construction plans with shotcreting requirements, particularly for vertical and overhead applications.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing frameworks and structures as required.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols.
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of skilled and proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in civil or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction plans and specifications.
- High level of attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour and working at heights.
This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
