Senior Avionics Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Avionics Technician to undertake workshop maintenance activities on various avionics components and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or national equivalent qualification, previous experience in Aircraft or workshop maintenance, user familiarity with the ADF Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2) system, and ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.

The key responsibilities of this role include undertaking scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, achieving Trade Supervisor authorisation for component and equipment maintenance activities, repairing and / or Bay Service of Repairable Items (RI's) and subcomponents, modifications (if required) of various parts or higher assemblies, full functional testing of these RI's on Test Equipment, strong focus on safety while meeting production requirements, ensuring Technical, Quality and Regulatory compliance is conducted to meet Defence Aviation Safety Regulations and ISO certifications.

The successful candidate will be required to possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
