Disability Support Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the disability sector and making a difference in people's lives.
Job OverviewWe are expanding our occupational therapy services and require an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a proactive attitude and interest in continually developing their skills.
- This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with physical disabilities, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- You will be responsible for managing a caseload, delivering timely therapeutic services, assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
- The successful candidate will also be required to interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, mentor and nurture early career clinicians, and maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to clients
- Managing a caseload and prioritising tasks effectively
- Conducting assessments and interpreting results to inform treatment plans
- Mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- Staying up-to-date with current legislation and best practice in the field

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
