Job Overview

We are expanding our occupational therapy services and require an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a proactive attitude and interest in continually developing their skills.

  • This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with physical disabilities, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • You will be responsible for managing a caseload, delivering timely therapeutic services, assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, mentor and nurture early career clinicians, and maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to clients
  • Managing a caseload and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Conducting assessments and interpreting results to inform treatment plans
  • Mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
  • Staying up-to-date with current legislation and best practice in the field

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist

  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills
