Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Occumax. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work with children from 0-18 years, their families, and other stakeholders to provide support and guidance for a happy, calm, and connected family and community life.

- Advance your knowledge by using a wide range of standardized assessments, therapy tools, and equipment.
- Deliver services in our well-equipped clinic with the opportunity to also provide supports at home, school, or in the community.
- Opportunity to deliver group therapy, parent, and information sessions.
- Bachelor or Masters entry degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a suitable qualification for general registration as an Occupational Therapist in Australia.
- General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist (or the ability to acquire before commencement).
- Ability to work independently, have great time management skills, and be an effective team member.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, professionals, other stakeholders, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to identify own learning needs, strengths, and limitations and seek out appropriate tools and resources to improve own skills and competencies as required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to achieving quality outcomes and continuous quality improvement.
- Ability to learn quickly, show initiative, and problem-solve with a positive attitude and growth mindset in a busy work setting.
