About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Occumax. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for working with children from ages 0-18, their families, and other involved parties to promote happy, calm, and connected family and community lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to children with a wide range of developmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and social/emotional difficulties.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
