About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at HanRoy. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the design, procurement, and construction phases of our Marble Bar Road Upgrade project.

The successful candidate will ensure the project is completed in accordance with the requirements, within time and cost, to achieve the execution and delivery of the project. You will also provide support to the Project Director, Package Managers, discipline engineers, contractors, and construction personnel.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the project's contractors and review pre-contracts planning, subcontractor, and materials procurement.
  • On-site project management, quality control, works delivery, and contract close-out.
  • Support Superintendent and Works Supervisors in effective scheduling and resourcing of works.
  • Ensure compliance with design and safety standards, supervising project contractors, delegating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders and contractors.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Civil Engineering is a must.
  • Ability to work a 12/9 FIFO roster.
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in civil/road construction in Australia.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical civil construction experience working with Main Roads WA (MRWA) specifications.
  • Possess the ability to safely deliver projects.
  • Possess a high level of commitment and drive for success.
  • Experience in managing civil engineering projects from start to finish, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and safety regulations.
