Warehouse Operations Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Distribution Centre operations in the Northern Territory. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive continuous improvement, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Uphold our strong safety values by ensuring all injuries are preventable, promoting a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Resource Planning: Develop and implement effective resource planning strategies to optimize day-to-day operations, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each functional area, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and motivate team members to meet supply chain targets, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regional Sales Managers, Inventory & EHS teams, and the regional network manager, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • A current Truck license and forklift license are essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in warehouse or DC management/supervision, with a track record of successful team leadership and operational excellence.
  • Previous fleet management experience is highly valued.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
