Job Title: Senior Tax Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Specialist to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining tax processes and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Filings and Reporting: Prepare tax filings in Asia Pacific, including full analysis to highlight positions taken. Support tax management on various initiatives, such as tax reviews, tax modelling, and correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Operational Management: Prepare corporate income tax, indirect tax filings, and employer tax filings in Asia Pacific. Prepare tax reporting for monthly management reporting and ASX reporting every six months for Asia Pacific.
  • Governance & Risk: Help maintain the low-risk strategy in compliance with Tax Risk Governance Policy and other related policies. Ensure corporate tax processes are suitably documented and understood.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Demonstrated experience in tax accounting and reporting, with a good understanding of current accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective decision-making and practical solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to engage with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Flexible and responsive, able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency of daily tasks.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience.
