Senior Quantitative Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Engineer to join our Systematic Markets team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Trading and Sales teams across Commodities, Trade and Carbon to develop quantitative applications and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales and trading teams to develop user-friendly derivative pricing applications within our Python-based platform.
- Develop and maintain tools to automate processes for Sales and Trading.
- Develop insights and analysis to support sales, trading, and risk management decisions.
- Strong programming skills in Python with a software engineering background.
- Established experience working in a front-office or quantitative role within a financial institution, commodities markets preferred.
- A degree in mathematics, computer science, actuary studies, engineering, quantitative finance, or a related field.
- Self-starter with a passion and understanding for the financial markets.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
