As a dedicated Home Care Specialist, you will deliver vital and practical assistance to enhance the independence and quality of life for elderly individuals in their residences. This role necessitates travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will receive reimbursement at a rate of $0.96 per kilometer, in addition to compensated travel time. We are seeking Specialist Carers in the Lower Central Coast Region, covering areas such as Gosford, Erina, Kincumber, Terrigal, and Woy Woy. Your responsibilities may include:- Offering personal care services, including assistance with bathing and dressing
- Supporting household tasks, such as meal preparation and light cleaning
- Providing transportation for appointments and aiding with shopping
- Assisting clients with their medication management
- You possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Previous experience in aged or community care is advantageous, but we welcome those eager to begin their career in this field.
- A valid Driver's License and access to an insured, dependable vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance) are essential.
- While a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, we are willing to assist those seeking to obtain this qualification.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of home care clients is crucial.
- Competitive hourly rates ranging from $28.70 to $31.50, plus 96 cents per kilometer, along with paid travel time and a mobile phone.
- Comprehensive training is provided for all Care Workers, with no prior experience required.
- Stable employment with a 14-day permanent part-time roster, allowing for effective planning.
- Salary packaging options available, offering up to $15,900 tax-free.
- Access to a Fitness Passport membership.
- First Aid Certification provided at no cost.
- Opportunities for paid training to achieve a Certificate III in Aged Care for career advancement.
