Senior Commercial Advisor

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for contract establishment, contract negotiations, and leading bid opportunities, as well as supporting various commercial strategies. The successful candidate must demonstrate high-level decision-making, contractual, and commercial knowledge to work independently at times.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity located in our Osborne head office, with work-from-home days available.
Responsibilities
• Develop commercial, contracts, and strategic relationships.
• Support the development and management of change proposals.
• Be part of all commercial aspects of program delivery, including developing responses to customers, contract negotiation, setting commercial objectives, and reporting.
• Support the development and contractual implementation of quotations.
• Maintain a strong professional and transparent relationship with our customers and internal stakeholders.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to effectively deliver commercial program outcomes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Commerce, or Law, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Contract Manager, Contract Manager, Commercial Advisory role, or similar.
• Experience in supporting new bid development opportunities and contract implementation without supervision.
• Previous experience and ability to understand complex project estimates and financials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to simply communicate complex issues.
• Ability to influence commercial outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
