Facilities Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our facilities team at St Margaret's Anglican Girls School.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient coordination of the school's facilities and event activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the facilities function by handling administrative tasks, including data entry for maintenance works and tracking progress.
- Scheduling and coordinating work requests with internal team members and external service providers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Acting as a key contact across the school for internal requests and facilitating external works that impact school operations.
- Assisting with the administration and coordination of events by organizing set-up and pack-down activities, working with stakeholders, and arranging external service providers as needed.
- Participating in traffic marshalling processes to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow during peak times.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong administrative skills with a high-level of competence with the Microsoft suite.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring a high level of presentation of the school grounds.
- A working knowledge of work, health and safety practices and the ability to prioritize works in this area.
- Previous experience coordinating trades or similar in a professional environment would be advantageous.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A can-do attitude and high level of flexibility, with the ability to proactively problem solve and think quickly on your feet.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with strong customer service.
