HVAC Systems Engineer Position:

Are you a skilled and experienced HVAC engineer looking for a challenging role? Ventia is seeking a highly qualified individual to lead a team of HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

  • This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and experience with electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
  • Maintenance and testing of HVAC systems will be performed using Mobility (iPad) and accurate records must be kept of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  • The ideal candidate will have a WA Driver's Licence and knowledge or experience with SAP or similar software.
  • Travel to different metro and remote defence sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading a team of HVAC technicians
  • Supervising in-house staff and subcontractors
  • Diagnostics of electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
  • Maintenance and testing of HVAC systems
  • Record-keeping of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications and skills are essential:

  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • WA Driver's Licence
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Knowledge or experience with SAP or similar software
  • Competent use of MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
