**Career Opportunity: Housing Specialist**

This is an exciting role for a dedicated professional seeking to make a positive impact in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual to lead our team in developing a trauma-informed practice framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level practice and professional supervision to the program team, managing team performance, recruitment, training, induction, supervision, and support. They will also coordinate policies, procedures, and resources necessary to ensure the effective delivery of support services.

To thrive in this environment, you must demonstrate resilience and commitment to the purpose and vision of the organization. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated trauma-informed, culturally safe model.

We are seeking someone with a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling and applicable membership of a professional body. A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience and 3 years' experience in professional supervision are required. Up-to-date post-graduate training and certificates relating to culturally safe professional supervision are essential.

A demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and develop a small team are necessary. Your professional philosophy should align with the mission and values of the organization. You must have highly developed computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and contemporary cloud-based software.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. A working with children check, police clearance, COVID-19 vaccination, driver's license, and proof of Aboriginality are required.
