Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join our Brisbane team. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and statutory planning advice to public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, studies, and strategic planning projects.
  • Coordinate studies and projects, including Due Diligence Reports, Planning Proposals, and Development Applications.
  • Work directly with clients, internal and external project team members, government, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues at RPS Group.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in urban/town planning (or equivalent).
  • Ideally 5 years' experience in the planning/approvals/environment assessment industry (QLD &/or NSW experience preferable).
  • Experience in providing strategic and statutory planning advice to public and private clients.
  • High-quality writing abilities.
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong commitment to client service, teamwork, and passion to shape planning outcomes.
