HSE Regional Manager Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HSE Regional Manager to support our business leaders in aligning and coordinating HSE activities and processes. This role will provide direct support to our sites and oversight of new warehouse builds. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE legislation and risk management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct onsite HSE advice and support to operational sites
- Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and effectiveness of HSE management systems
- Conduct incident investigations using approved methodologies
- Develop and review HSE Improvement Plans in partnership with business leaders
- Monitor compliance with Company and statutory HSE requirements
- Provide accurate and timely HSE performance reports to business leaders and customers
Requirements
- 8 or more years practical experience in a HSE role
- Experience within warehouse and logistics
- Experience with supporting multiple sites or a geographically diverse business is desirable
Technical/Professional Skills Required
- Detailed knowledge of HSE legislation and the application of risk management principles
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in the interpretation and analysis of HSE legislation and audit criteria
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Experience in conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies
- Cert 4 or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Auditing qualifications / training is desirable
