Senior Academic Leader

The position of Senior Academic Leader is a senior leadership role that oversees the academic and pastoral care of students in Years 10-12.

This role requires a highly experienced and effective educational leader who can provide instructional leadership, manage teams, and contribute to the overall direction of the school's curriculum programs.

  • Leverage expertise to lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to achieve exceptional student outcomes.
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies that meet the needs of students and align with state and national standards.
  • Provide high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers to enhance their practice and stay current with best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Provisional or full registration with the relevant teaching authority.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of teachers and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of curriculum design and implementation.
  • Ability to lead and manage resource allocation effectively.
