Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and verify all incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain and organize inventory levels, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch and receiving of parts and tooling.
  • Assist in the purchasing and procurement of consumables and PPE, balancing cost and quality.
  • Support the workshop team in facilitating audits and remediation efforts.
  • Manage the receipting and put-away of stock, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch shipments of parts and goods to customers and internal departments.
  • Securely pack parts and goods to prevent damage in transit.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, adhering to 5S and Feel Safety principles.
  • Assist with cyclical and full stock takes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and file all necessary paperwork for parts and goods entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Liaise with transport companies to arrange cost-effective delivery of parts to customers and internal departments.
  • Verify and process returned items, ensuring authorization and accuracy.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns related to inventory management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our computerized inventory control system, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer parts orders.
  • Collaborate with other employees to refine processes and procedures, improving the efficiency of our warehouse operations.
