Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Account Manager in Australia and New Zealand. This position is a key member of our sales team, responsible for driving retail success across leading retailers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • You will be responsible for managing sell-out performance through effective merchandising, retail education, marketing activations, and seasonal initiatives.
    • Develop and execute annual business plans for each retailer, focused on sales growth, visibility, and in-store excellence.
    • Act as a brand ambassador at major conferences, retailer events, and education sessions—engaging teams with product expertise and brand storytelling.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring exceptional service and alignment to commercial and brand goals.
    • Lead regular business reviews with key retailers, identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and securing future growth.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage the business holistically, owning forecasting, stock management, education, events, and commercial growth strategies.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute activations, in-store training, and marketing campaigns that fuel consumer engagement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales, account management, or retail management.
  • Proven track record of growing retail businesses and delivering against KPIs in Australia and/or New Zealand.
  • Strong understanding of the ANZ beauty retail landscape, including Sephora, Priceline, Life Pharmacy, and pharmacy and department store channels.
  • Confident and engaging presenter with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable leading retail training, in-store events, and external meetings.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
