Our Early Childhood Learning Centre

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children, aged from 6 weeks to 6 years old.

The service is located in a modern purpose-built building with free parking on site and easy access to public transportation. Our centre features well-resourced rooms with natural light, each equipped with sustainable facilities and materials.

The daily routine begins at 7:30am with outdoor playtime in a large backyard featuring sandpits, mud kitchens, and climbing apparatus. Staff have a private staff room for relaxation and recharge during breaktimes.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working 8 hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays, with opportunities to join our casual pool and work across other services if desired.

Requirements

  • Australian working rights
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Completed Child Protection Training and understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
