To achieve this, we need dedicated leaders to drive and lead our Café teams on a day-to-day basis.
About the role
Assist the café manager in overseeing daily operations.
Lead by example and be hands-on with your team.
Deliver outstanding service and effective management ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality.
Maintain costs within targets and identify opportunities to grow the business.
Maintain customer, team, and supplier relationships.
Maintain café presentation, cleanliness, and overall integrity for your team and guests.
Be passionate about coffee
About you
You will be someone who thrives on exceeding expectations of both teams and guests to which you are responsible. You will come from a similar food and beverage environment and have strong people management experience and excel in leading others. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as well as leading your team to ensure a welcoming environment that strives to exceed guest expectations every time.
Your skills and experience
Experience in a similar environment is essential, as is a certificate in responsible alcohol service. Barista experience is an advantage. Experience across operational needs of running a café from rostering to stock management is required. You must be available across trade times including late nights and weekends.
