About the Role

The Reliability Specialist provides technical support to the Maintenance Department, analyzing data, conducting failure analysis, and identifying opportunities for business improvement. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and availability of equipment, while maintaining alignment with company, environmental, and social objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for maintenance personnel, including condition monitoring and data analysis.
  • Manage and provide timely action/recommendations from condition monitoring data.
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement, cost reduction, and reliability projects.
  • Champion work groups and provide coaching support for defect elimination techniques.
  • Develop and review asset management plans for critical equipment.
  • Manage projects as required, including critical spares analysis and budgeting.
  • Assist with the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost control measures.
  • Provide support to company maintenance/reliability initiatives.
  • Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment reliability issues.
  • Liaise with OEMs to resolve product/part/component problems or maintenance issues.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment performance.
  • Ensure records, registers, and drawings are kept up to date.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Specialist with a strong background in mechanical engineering and maintenance. You'll require a high level of computer literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
