  • You will be responsible for reviewing development applications and assessing their transport impacts.">
  • As a Transport Planning Consultant, you will need to have high-level problem-solving skills, creativity, and a refusal to accept things at face value.">
  • With experience in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Development Engineering, you will be able to leverage your expertise to seek the appropriate advice and information required to inform your decisions.">
  • This is a part-time temporary opportunity offered until 8th January 2025 - 4 days per week.">

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Review multiple development applications and assess their transport impacts in a time-critical environment.">
  • Built rapport and develop strong stakeholder relations across multiple internal and external sources.">
  • Leverage relationships to seek appropriate advice and information required to inform your decisions.">
  • Negotiate outcomes and overcome challenges.">
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy while reporting to a Team Leader and working as a supportive team member.">
  • Hold a full driving licence with the capacity to travel across the region when required.">

What You Will Need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Development Engineering.">
  • Experience in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Development Engineering.">
  • Critical thinking skills.">
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.">
