Job Title: Quality, Safety and Improvement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our quality, safety and improvement initiatives. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our clinical quality and safety systems, including accreditation, clinical risk assessment and monitoring.

About the Role:

  • Support MHDAS Executive in implementing clinical quality and safety systems.
  • Oversight MHDAS managers' timely responses to RiskMans, audits and other monitoring of quality, safety and improvement related outcomes.
  • Provide education to workforces focused on supporting their ongoing engagement with MHDAS clinical quality, safety and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote the quality improvement program and foster a culture of clinical quality and safety with emphasis on improving service experiences and outcomes.
  • Support excellence in the achievement and maintenance of mental health service provision.
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, both within and external to MHDAS.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a clinical quality, safety and improvement role in a public healthcare setting.
  • The ability to work autonomously and to strict deadlines as well as contributing effectively as a team member within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Qualifications in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy, or Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
  • Completion of or currently progressing towards a Master's level qualification in quality improvement, leadership or health administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years employment in mental health.
