About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our IT Services team at Flexhive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing IT infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Audio Visual (AV) systems within capital works initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering IT infrastructure projects, with experience in Audio Visual system integration, project budget administration, and managing the work delivered by multiple 3rd party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery and management of allocated project activities within the designated business domain.
  • Take responsibility for the end-to-end execution of specific aspects of assigned projects within the prescribed framework, ensuring the production of required deliverables.
  • Work on project reports for management, project governance groups, and other stakeholders as required, including resource forecasts and utilisation.
  • Support the successful completion of AV projects, along with other IT infrastructure initiatives, contributing to the overall objectives of the IT Services team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience coordinating or managing IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in Audio Visual system integration.
  • Experience working across small to medium Capital Projects.
  • Experience administering project budgets.
  • Experience managing the work delivered by multiple 3rd party vendors, including procurement activities.
  • Desirable: Experience with ITIL Change and Incident methodologies, background in the higher-education sector, and delivering IT infrastructure at scale.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher qualification in Project Management or Technology related discipline.
  • Project Management related certifications.
