Site Supervisor: Carpenter

We seek a qualified and experienced Carpenter to fill a leadership role within our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the onsite management and coordination of a work crew and/or contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with contractors and site staff to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Supervising maintenance activities on bridges and drainage structures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Participating in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, offer suggestions for improvement, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • A trade-qualified Carpenter with extensive experience in leading teams within bridge maintenance and civil construction environments.
  • A practical thinker who can adapt quickly to new situations and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in operating hand tools and equipment, and possessing a valid Construction Industry White Card.
  • Residing within a 75km radius of the Waratah depot is mandatory due to the requirement for early starts and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
