About the role

We are seeking for 2 experienced Carpenters to join our growing construction team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of various building components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our expanding business.

What you'll be doing

  • Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

  • Installing doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures

  • Performing general carpentry/Building maintenance and repairs

  • Work with team to deliver projects on time & within quality framework

  • Assist with Landscaping, retaining walls & other ancillary tasks in general building process

  • Collaborating with the construction team to ensure efficient and timely project completion

  • Adhering to safety standards and regulations on the job site

What we're looking for

  • Formal carpentry qualification

  • Must have own tools & transport

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Commitment to workplace health and safety

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
