We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Technology team.

Job Description:

The role involves serving as a key technical expert and offering 3rd level technical support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with the wider Technology team on escalated issues, designing, implementing, and delivering technical solutions, mentoring junior team members, ensuring documentation is up-to-date, and administering, supporting, and maintaining ICT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with the wider Technology team on escalated issues relating to Infrastructure & Cloud services.
  • Design, implement, and deliver technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide relevant 'on-the-job' instruction when required.
  • Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date prioritizing tasks based on priority, impact, and service level agreements.
  • Administer, support, and maintain ICT services inclusive of On-premises, Azure, and Data Centre hosted environments to ensure optimum systems performance.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on digital transformation across the organization, particularly file shared Azure cloud formation and/or hybrid configuration.
  • Troubleshoot server and networking hardware issues, manage problem resolution, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Manage Microsoft and VMWare hypervisor maintenance and support.
  • Support Windows stack management including Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, etc.
  • Design/build/install/cutover and backup Disaster Recovery (ShadowProtect, Azure Backup, and Veeam).
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud suite including Office 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID, and Advanced Threat Protection.
  • Exhibit business communication skills – experience with telecommunications infrastructure provisioning and cloud phones.
  • Show willingness to work some after-hours and weekend shifts with occasional interstate travel.
